See? Remember our recent post on air mishaps as well as possible and overlooked causes? Like, runways and things like that?
Now here we go again, and this time it’s not necessarily coming from pilots, ground crews, or technicalities but errors from Apple Maps.
According to Fairbanks International Airport – in the past 3 weeks, a couple of motorists have crossed the airport runway causing the Alaskan airport to temporarily close.
This is actually good news for passengers, meaning, airport officials are awake and really tries to look after everyone’s safety. However, it’s not so good for Apple. Mapping has to be corrected. Google, although in a better position, should constantly review their mapping as well. Drivers. Passengers. Pilots. People. Everybody’s lives are at stake here..
