Food & How To: Yam Pla Dook Fu (Thai)

Indeed there are more ways than one to cook ‘catfish’; and for today, let’s see how the Thai’s do it with Yam Pla Dook Fu..

Notice something? The fish is pounded before being cooked. Hmm.. for those who haven’t really heard of this, it’s real interesting since fish as we know is already ‘soft’ so pounding it doesn’t make much sense. But the Thais are just real creative when it comes to food, so..

With vegetable oil, it sticks more; and with sour mango, it gives you a different kind of tingle.. but yup, though not without the spicy sauce.

Hey, it’s not so hard to make, so.. try this and enjoy!
