Know what? The noodles just reminds me of some packed ‘pancit canton’ sold at convenience stores. Then again, don’t be fooled by its appearance. It’s egg noodles, and it’s fresh that’s why it can’t be kept for days. Still, notice how bare and plain everything is when laid out?
The char siu, the choi sum, the pickled green chili and ’em dumplings — it’s actually a nice blending of colors that makes it even more intriguing.
