It’s the holidays so it’s one of those peak seasons for traveling. And our destination — Moalboal, a must visit diving spot in the southern portion of Cebu province. Yup, you must have heard the place; fact is, it has become quite popular that tourists have been flocking the place all year round. Really.
To get to Moalboal: Coming from Cebu City — head to the South Bus Terminal. Then take a Ceres bus with the Bato via Barili route (Fare P107). In this trip, you’d be passing by the cities or municipalities of: Talisay, Naga, San Fernando, Carcar, Barili, Dumanjug, Ronda, Alcantara, and then finally Moalboal. Just get off the town’s market and ride a tricycle or motorbike (Fare P50) to Panagsama Beach which is not really far..
Well, especially if it’s your first time, the trip is an adventure itself considering the number of owns you’ll pass by.. And there’s even a port in Dumanjug for those wanting to go to Negros province.
Now, let’s take a little peek at what’s along the street..
Hmm.. no wonder why it’s popular, there’s an overview of the beach!
Good location. Nice sand. Great view. But.. we’re done for now.
Oh worry not, this is just how to get to Moalboal and a little glimpse of the Panagsama beach.. there’s more coming up on our next post!
