Fashion Watch: 2016 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards – Red Carpet ‘Best Dressed’

Winners have just been declared; but have you seen the Red Carpet arrivals for the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards? Well, sadly this is one instance where many of our stars are quite pale in their outfits. Yup, literally..

Though some of them gave life to the event, of course. Now, let’s go through our choices for the Red Carpet’s ‘Best Dressed’.

Alicia Vikander

Alicia, this year’s Best Supporting actress winner, just looks unique here. Really. Those beadings, you know, kinda makes us imagine of whale sharks actually. Hah! But then, it’s a pretty eye-catching Mary Katrantzou gown indeed!

Saoirse Ronan

Maybe pale in color but definitely elegant in stature. Saoirse just made a good choice in wearing a sky-blue gown with beaded chevron details at the shoulders — along with some pale pink opal Stephen Webster geometric drop earrings, she’s just something.

Emmy is simple yet gorgeous in her navy Dior cocktail dress with a high slit inset with a sequin panel plus ’em silver Jimmy Choo sandals, a Lee Savage clutch and Cartier jewelry — could you ask for more?!

Oh, is it similar to Alicia’s dress? Hmm… sort of but not quite. Luciana is wearing a silvery-beaded black Naeem Khan gown; and those stripes just made her look a class of her own. Right. (People)

Wow, our star of the night. Kate Beckinsale! And what a creation by Monique Lhuillier! An Art Deco-embroidered silver gown with a sheer neckline — simply princess-like, huh?! Then coupled with a violet Kotur clutch and Butani chandelier earrings — just perfect!
